‘Bringing BIM models to life!’

BIM 3D visualisation is used for design, planning, presentation and marketing purposes. This service will take your BIM model to the next level. Whilst basic rendering of a BIM model can take place in the cloud, our BIM 3D Visualisation service draws upon 15 years experience in the 3D visualisation industry allowing for the production of high end 3D imagery and animation. Whether you are presenting your design to a client, require planning photomontages or your client wishes to market their development, our BIM 3D Visualisation service is for you.

There are six distinct stages involved in a BIM 3D Visualisation project. These are as follows:

Stage 1: Consultation and establishing requirements

Initial discussions are required to determine the requirements of our client. No matter what the project objective is, we will advise on the best approach. All consultations at this stage are free of charge. A detailed fee proposal will be issued based on this consultation stage.

Stage 2: Instruction and issue of information

Upon instruction, we will request that all necessary information is sent to us in order to commence work on the project. This will include the existing BIM model. It is likely that we will have advised on the information required during stage 1. However further information may be requested upon instruction such as material finishes and reference photos.

Stage 3: BIM Model optimisation

The majority of BIM models we take in require a certain amount of optimisation work. All existing BIM models that have NOT been created by us will need work to make them ‘fit for purpose’.

Stage 4: 3D visualisation and draft material

This is the main ‘project phase’ and involves carrying out the various processes to create the required 3D imagery. Structural and material drafts will be issued for comments throughout the project. Stage 5 will not commence until sign off of all draft imagery has been received.

Stage 5: Sign off and production of final material

Upon sign off of all draft material, the high resolution versions will be rendered and the final phase of the project carried out – post production. Final proofs will be issued for minor comments and/or sign off.

Stage 6: Issue of final material

Upon sign off of all final proofs, all 3D material will be issued at high resolution. They will be issued electronically through an online file sharing service.
